While reading a book on tea, I understood The real meaning of High tea & Low tea !
“High tea is often misconstrued as an incredibly lavish affair with sumptuous cakes and plenty of fine-quality tea, but the term actually originates from the Victorian era and is how the British working classes would refer to their evening meal at their ‘high table’ after an honest day’s slog.
