This Poem is about Perfect combination of billions of imperfections around us. I used Shadows as a tool to convey my message of Cosmic Harmony. Please read and tell me how you feel about it.
आसमां ने आज परछाइयां लिखी हैं
ज़मीन पर
देखो
आड़ी तिरछी लकीरें
छोटे से बड़े होते अक्स
हरे छिले हुए मैदान पर फुटबॉल खेलते
तो कभी कूड़ा बीनते
कभी आदम से बड़े..
तो कभी गायब होते
ठूंठ और अमलतास को देखो
अपनी अपनी परछाइयां हैं
दोनों के पास
और वो चोर
अपनी परछाईं से भाग रहा है
कई प्रेम कहानियों का गवाह
वो खंबा भी
हर नए आशिक के साथ
अक्स बदल लेता है
ये परछाइयां हर पल
मिलती हैं
लड़ती झगड़ती हैं
एक दूसरे में समाती हैं
कुछ ट्यूबलाइट और बल्ब के साथ
घरों में क़ैद हैं
तो कुछ धुएं और बादल में दफ़्न
ये दुनिया है
कितनी मारामारी है
लेकिन ज़रा ऊपर चलो
तो सब कुछ अद्भुत है
सब कुछ एकदम करीने से रखा
सतह पर दिखने वाली हर गलती
आसमान से एक सधी हुई कोशिश लग रही है
ज़िंदगी जलतरंग बजा रही है
International Version
Skies have written shadows on the land
large & small… grey & black
moving round like a magic wand
see shadows playing on a football ground
on an afternoon road,
on an Evening Corner near that Lamp post,
around that leafless tree
changing sizes and shapes every second
fighting with and fusing in each other
like various relationships
Some shadows are under arrest
in that cramped apartment installed with Tubelights & Bulbs
Some are invisible in Fog & Smoke of Life
This is our world
everything happening around us seems imperfect
but just rise a bit above
to see and feel
the perfect combination of billions of imperfections
this is Cosmic Harmony
and you feel it at certain height
